Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or identity documents in marketplace messages. Inspect listings and confirm seller arrangements before payment.

Protect your account
Use a unique password and keep confirmation and password-reset links private. If you lose access, request recovery from the sign-in page rather than sharing your password with another person.
Inspect before committing
Review photos, asking price, condition, seller information, and delivery terms. Question unusual urgency, implausibly low prices, or requests to pay outside the normal checkout process.
Safe pickup and viewing
Agree on a suitable meeting location and time. For valuable assets or private viewings, consider bringing another person and arranging independent inspection where appropriate.
If something goes wrong
Keep order and message records. Submit a listing concern, suspected-fraud report, or payment dispute through the Trust & dispute center. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
